Hi there! My name is Steven May. I’m a lighting designer and operator, with prior experience in sound and AV work as well. I’ve worked technical roles in many types of live events, including burlesque, theatre, dance, music and corporate production.
Our production company is focused on lighting design for a wide variety of shows, from smaller site-specific works to larger national and international touring work. This can be seen with our involvement in various independent theatre shows with Polytoxic, Playlab Theatre and Backbone Youth Arts as well as burlesque events with Bombshell Burlesque, CULT The Show, Vanguard Burlesque and Evana De Lune. We’ve also provided design and operator work for larger shows and touring works with Swamplesque, BIG LIVE and Amplified House.
Our expertise lies in providing unique lighting design for shows, unafraid of complex or controversial design decisions, while providing touring-friendly automation solutions to simplify handover to venue technicians or lighten the work for touring crew.
