Unveiling Shadows - 11.09.2025

This one was quite a unique experience, it has since become a lot more common but really the first set-heavy show I’ve ever worked, plus combined with the one-man show nature of it with Josh Taliani, really meant that the lighting was on full display as a character in the show. Fortunately our fearless leader Wanida Serce and I had an established teamwork method such that despite the relative difficulty (laser choreo!) it all came together really well. Particularly with Josephine and Ebony’s set design, really quite the powerhouse of a technical team on this show!

She Kills Monsters (JMC) - 18.12.2024

This was definitely a smaller scope of show, with a pretty quick turnaround, but I’m still very happy with this one! A Metro Arts show with the capability for strong colour and a lot of side light, it’s hard to go wrong for sure. This was the first gig I used the Sandanes on, and they proved to be a great short-throw sidelight option with good colour and a wide enough angle to fill the space with quite a punchy amount of light.

Tangerine Hour - 09.04.2021

One of my first proper lighting designs! At least in a theatre space (so much found-space theatre in the early days…)

I’d clearly already found some aspects of my design sensibility, including the strong colour choices and stark textural decisions, which is really pleasing to see, actually, it’s nice knowing I had a strong voice perhaps earlier on than I generally expected…
